Smoky Chipotle Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp Chipotle infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • tbsp honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
  • Fresh lime wedges (for serving)

Prepare the Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or preheat your grill. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure they crisp up nicely.

Season the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the Chipotle infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken wings in the seasoning mixture until they are evenly coated. If you like a bit of sweetness, drizzle the honey over the wings and toss again.

Cook the Wings: Oven Method: Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.

Grill Method: Grill the wings over medium-high heat for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
